While Ruby A. Neeson Diabetes Awareness Foundation, Inc. Diabetes Support Group focuses on non-clinical methods and approaches on the emotional and social aspects of diabetes, we also offers free workshops. Our self-management and prevention workshops provide the fundamentals of a skill-based approach to diabetes education; specifically to anchor expanding participants competence in the science and clinical approach to diabetes.

Those who wish to increase their knowledge of diabetes health and wellness, and learn information on other chronic diseases should attend the workshops.
