March 16, 2020
Out of a multitude of concern and caution regarding the current state of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our community outreach activities and special social events have been placed on postponement, provisionally.
As the condition develops, understand we will devote our capacity and resources in reacting in real-time to make sure we are here to be a wellspring of support to people affected by diabetes.
With circumspect planning and recommendations from public health officials, we are eager to recommence our work soon.
In these unprecedented moments, we are reminded, the health and safety of the community is invariably of greatest importance.
**UPDATE**

Because people diagnosed with diabetes may be at a higher risk of experiencing complications and getting very sick from COVID-19 we are still here to help via online health education sessions.
Please periodically visit our online portal for a variety of Diabetes information, tools, links, and more.
